毎度の事ですが、開催一週間前にも係わらずスケジュールが寂しい状態
ですが、これも毎度の事、例えばgitのチュートリアルなど、興味深い
テーマが寄せられそうです。またオタワリナックスシンポジウムの
様子もお話しします。

皆様からのセッション提案も引き続きお待ちしています。

There are a few pieces of news that are worth mentioning at the
event:
1) Jared has submitted AXFS to the kernel mailing list for
mainline review. Response is very detailed (with lots of issues
reported) but seems favorable.
2) Arjan Van De Ven has reported a set of improvements to the
kernel and several applications, that allow him to cold-boot
a moblin-based MID (mobile internet device) in 5 seconds. He
will report on this at the Linux Plumber's conference in
September. The work involved a lot of different things, including
improvements his work on parallelizing Linux driver initalization,
and lots of work on the X server.

Both of these are, IMHO, pretty exciting developments.

Very interesting on Arjan's job. Is there some document to describe
how he made it?
