For those of you working with Android, here's something worthwhile...

I just read a blog entry about the Android Hardware Abstraction Layer,
written by Karim Yaghmour. It is necessary to understand this layer
and how to interface to it if you are adapting Android to your own
device. There's more to porting Android to a device than just
kernel driver work.
