Dear All,
As all of you may know, next month, Kernel Summit
coupled with Japan Linux Symposium will be held in
Tokyo, Akihabara. Just like the passed case in
Ottawa Linux Symposium, on the Thursday night,
(October 22nd), CE Linux Forum is planning to have
a private BoF style meeting at Ochanomizu Hotel
Juraku where is located within 10 minutes walk
from the main venue of Kernel Summit and Japan Linux
Symposium. The access from both Narita Airport and
Haneda Airport is fine:
From Narita:
- Take JR Line for Tokyo (Narita Express)
and...
- transfer to Yamanote or Keihin-Tohoku
line north bound to Akihabara Station
or
- transfer to Cyuo line to Ochanomizu
station
both are just few minutes ride.
If it is commuter time (7am to 10am /
5pm to 8pm) I highly recommend you to
take taxi from Tokyo station which may
cost around 1000 Yen.
- Take Keisei Line for Keisei-Ueno (Skyliner)
and...
- Transfer at Nippori station to south
bound of Yamanote or Keihin-Tohoku line to Akihabara station. It is just
few minutes ride.
or
- Take taxi at Keisei-Ueno Station, the
final stop. It may cost about 1000 Yen.
From Haneda:
- Take monorail to Hamamatsucyo station and
transfer to Yamanote or Keihintohoku line
north bound to Akihabara Station. It is
about 10 minutes ride.
The service of Yamanote, Keihin-Tohoku, Cyuo
and the monorail lines are so frequent that you
do not need to worry for.
Since the hotel is designed mainly for business
trip of Japanese people, those rooms would not be wide
enough but it must be so convenient location for
whom attending the events.
The hotel is offering us of our special opportunity
to stay with our rate. If you are interested in
this offer, please look into the attached pdf file
and send the filled form to the hotel as instructed
in the file.
If you have any difficulties communicating with the
hotel, please do not hesitate contacting me.
As to the detail of "Thursday night Bof", the detail
will be informed later.
I hope above helpful for you.
