FreedomHEC Taipei 2008 and LFJ #9 Symposium

Hi,

I have attended FreedomHEC Taipei 2008 last month.
As "FreedomHEC Taipei is the hardware conference",
I though people on the list might be interested.

Here's the event program page url.
http://freedomhectaipei.pbwiki.com/

I had a talk on the basis of Linux security using lots of illustrations.
If you are interested, please open the following url.

http://tomoyo.sourceforge.jp/taipei2008/secure-linux-primer-harada.mov
(it's not PDF nor PowerPoint. it's 49MB quicktime movie)

Not interested at all? Fine, I have one more thing. Linux Foundation
Japan held #9 Symposium in Japan last month.

- Linux Weather Forecast ---- Jon Corbet (LWN.net)
- Cgroup and memory resource controller....What it is ? ---- Hiroyuki Kamezawa (Fujitsu)
- Evolution and Diversity: The meaning of Freedom and Openness in Linux --- James Bottomley
- Kernel Summit 2008 Report ---- Ted Ts'o (The Linux Foundation)
- Next Generation File Systems and Data Integrity---- Ric Wheeler (RedHat)

Cool, isn't it? URL for the slides and movie links:
http://www.linux-foundation.jp/modules/tinyd5/index.php?id=10
(this page is in Japanese, but has speakers photos)

Cheers,
Toshiharu Harada

Harada-san,

This is great information. Thanks for providing it!
(By the way, this info would be good to add to the
eLinux wiki. Would you mind adding the event links
to the page: http://elinux.org/Current_events
Also, if you haven't already added the security info
please add that as well, on the appropriate page.

Thanks very much!!

Surely, it's done. Thank you for reminding me.

When I obtained my elinux.org wiki account, it was like desert,
but I noticed now I am living in the jungle. :-O (Wow!)

"More web&wiki pages comes with great responsibilities".

I'll try to do my job, boss!

Thanks very much!!
