Please be reminded that the Mini Jamboree will be held on this Thursday, June 30th. - June 30th, MINI Japan Technical Jamboree. - http://elinux.org/Japan_Technical_Jamboree_57-1 上田

Embedded Linux Conference Europe - call for participation
Bird, Timothy <Tim.Bird@...>
Hello everyone,
The CE Workgroup of the Linux Foundation would like to invite you to make a presentation at Embedded Linux Conference Europe. The conference will be held October 11 - 13 in Berlin, Germany. For general information about the conference, See http://events.linuxfoundation.org/events/embedded-linux-conference-europe For information about the call for participation, see http://events.linuxfoundation.org/events/embedded-linux-conference-europe/program/cfp Please note the guidelines on the CFP page. It's usually pretty obvious when we're reviewing the abstracts, as a program committee, who has read the guidelines and who hasn't. ELCE is the premier vendor-neutral technical conference for embedded Linux developers in Europe. The conference is open to the public. = Guidelines = Presentations should be of a technical nature, covering topics related to the use of Linux in embedded systems. Presentations that are commercial advertisements or sales pitches are not appropriate for this conference. We would love to hear your proposals in the following topic areas: * Audio, Video, Streaming Media, and Graphics * Security * System size, Boot speed, and Real-Time Performance * Flash Memory Devices and Filesystems * Build Systems, Embedded Distributions, and Development tools * Mobile Phones, DVRs, TVs, Cameras, etc. * Drones and Robots * Linux in the Internet of Things * Practical Experiences and War Stories * Standards Most presentation slots will be 50 minutes long, including time for questions. Tutorials, demos, and Birds-of-a-Feather sessions may also be proposed. The deadline for submissions is midnight (PDT) June 26, 2016. I look forward to seeing your great ideas and projects, Thanks, -- Tim Bird CEWG Architecture Group Chair, Program Committee Chair for ELCE |

ELC 2016 Technical Showcase invitation
Tim Bird <tim.bird@...>
Greetings, person interested in Embedded Linux Conference...
Embedded Linux Developer... This year at ELC 2016 (as in past years), the ELC staff is organizing a technical showcase for conference participants. See http://elinux.org/ELC_2016_Technical_Showcase (See http://events.linuxfoundation.org/events/embedded-linux-conference/ for information about the conference itself (not the technical showcase)) The technical showcase is an opportunity: * For Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) projects to show their software in action, to grow their user and developer community * For system developers to share their experience using FOSS components (knowledge sharing with other system developers will need to be the primary focus) * For hardware makers to show the capabilities of their hardware, provided what is demonstrated is mostly based on FOSS. * For ELC 2016 speakers to give a hands-on experience related to what they presented, and have plenty of time to interact with people who were interested in their presentation. The technical showcase is set to happen on Tuesday evening (April 5). If you are interested in showcasing something, please contact me (Tim Bird) by March 11, and prepare a poster too. However, the sooner, the better, as demonstration space will be limited. My spam-resistant e-mail is: tim (dot) bird (at) sonymobile (dot) com Thanks - I hope you can make it to the event, and look forward to your ideas for demonstrations for the technical showcase. -- Tim Bird Program Committee Chair, Embedded Linux Conference 2016 Senior Staff Software Engineer, Sony Mobile Communications, Inc. |

You have sent him a patch that has triggered this response. He used to manually respond to these common problems, but in order to save his sanity (he kept writing the same thing over and over, yet to different people), I was created. Greg could just guess, but if you are receiving this email, he guessed wrong and the patches didn't apply.
